a) One excellent and easy trek to do is to take the bus from the center of town to the village of Messochori and then proceed to walk to lefkos after you have explored the village a little. in Lefkos you will find cozy seaside tavernas where you can enjoy a light lunch or even have a swim. then take the bus back to town from Lefkos.

b)
Another personal favorite is to leave early from town on foot with plenty of water and sun block. You then walk towards the town of Menetes. You can take the quick route which you just follow the road or go via Vroutsa. In Menetes you can have a coffee in a traditional cafe in the platia. Also, you may visit the church and local museum. This should not take more than an hour. Then take the same road back until you reach the crossroads. This time you will turn right and go to Amopi beach. This is a great sandy beach with wonderfully clear waters but not very private. Return by bus in the evening.

c) Another route to follow in order to reach Amopi beach would be via the church Larniotissa and then Agia Kiriaki. Leaving the Sound of the sea hotel you turn left and not right towards town. You will find yourself in a beautifully wooded area where the scenery is breathtaking on the walk and at both churches. From Agia kiriaki you continue to follow the asphalt road going down and then straight until you reach amopi beach. You may return on foot or by bus from Amopi beach. This walk will take 1 to 2 hours at the most.

d)
All the villages may be reached by bus and then you can just walk back. All you have to do is to decide how far and how long of a trek you want.
